The dance of light and colors is fascinating and asks for description in the rhythm of line and form.  This is what my paintings are about.  My latest piece is one of the larger ones I have done, 3 feet by 4 feet.  The painting tells me it is done, but I will let it sit for a while to make sure.  Particularly on a large scale there may be an aspect that wants more attention.  

Meantime, I have done another underpainting for a series of these paintings that come from my sketches of Morning Light.  The light is always changing from each minute, every hour, throughout the day, as the earth moves around the sun.  Art is about capturing a moment, a breath of time.
